The number of players playing Destiny 2 on Google Stadia has dropped by half the number of people signed up when Stadia was launched in November.
Google Stadia is a cloud-based service that allows users to play games on different devices by streaming.
Destiny 2 had over 19,000 players on Stadia after a week of its launch. But, according to a report from Forbes, that number has decreased drastically. As of January 2020, around 8,000 players are on the service.
If we compare it with players playing Destiny 2 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The numbers are very high. There are many reasons behind players leaving Stadia. Like many players have left the game because they didn’t see anything that can keep them in the game. They basically signed up because the game was free and they wanted to try the new game.
The other reason is the data issue. Many companies provide data caps. Which makes it impossible for many players to play the game on Google Stadia impossible.
